A rather recent (as in, 2009) discovery in prehistory, Kaprosuchus, the “BoarCroc” is known only from a fossilized skull. However, a single skull is all one needs to see that this is a ferocious predator; with unusually large teeth not unlike today’s wild boar, Kaprosuchus hunted other animals in the moist waterways of the Mid Cretaceous.
